Celebrate spring with movement – walking group

Start where you are, and train with a small group in your neighbourhood. You’ll feel a new sense of energy to move forward for spring; and meet new friends to keep you active. And a walking habit is an exercise you can use anywhere to stay fit. You’ll also learn some basic strength and stretch exercises to help you to stay strong and balanced.
Starts Wednesday, March 21
Meet Wednesdays at 6 pm for an hour and half of walking and strength moves. We meet at Clark Park basketball court on 15th Avenue between Knight and Commercial.
4 weeks for $48 ($12 a session; no drop-ins)
From walking to running
For anyone comfortable with walking for 45 minutes, start to add running. In six weeks you’ll go from walking to running 5 km.
Train with a small group in your neighbourhood. We’ll build distance slowly, as you get stronger and feel great!![]()
